The best conference in college basketball is the Big East and it is the conference that gets the most attention at the sportsbook.

The Green Bay Packers won Super Bowl XLV on Sunday 31-25 over the Pittsburgh Steelers and also covered the spread at the sportsbook.  Aaron Rodgers was named the MVP as he threw for 304 yards and three touchdowns in a game that was very exciting at the sportsbook.

Green Bay Hangs On The Packers built a 21-3 lead and led by a score of 21-10 at the half. They had to withstand a Pittsburgh rally as the Steelers cut the lead to 28-25 in the fourth quarter.  Rodgers then led the Packers on a drive that extended the lead to six points with just over two minutes to go and the Steelers could not get much going on their final drive of the game and Green Bay was the winner. Sportsbook – Some Losing NBA Teams are Good Bets

Tags: Bets

If you look at the NBA standings at the sportsbook you will find a number of teams with bad straight up records but not all of them are bad bets against the spread.

Let’s take a look at some losing teams who are actually winners for you at the online sportsbook.

Philadelphia 76ers (20-26 SU, 29-16-1 ATS) The 76ers are six games under .500 but they are 13 games over .500 against the spread. They are definitely an interesting team for gamblers. Rarely is a team this good against the spread with a losing record but Philadelphia always seems to keep games close. The 76ers are still remotely in the playoff race in the East but they probably won’t make it. Phi

Sportsbook – NCAA Tourney Bubble Watch

Tags: Bubble, Bubble Watch

It is almost February so March Madness at the sportsbook is just around the corner. It is never too early to look at teams on the NCAA Tournament bubble so let’s look at a few teams that need to start winning against the odds at the Internet sportsbook.

Top Heavy Year This is going to be a weird year for the NCAA Tournament.  There are a lot of very good teams and a lot of teams that probably don’t belong in the Big Dance. That is going to mean a lot of teams on the bubble. Even teams like Butler and Gonzaga who have struggled recently are not out of the picture. Both are still on the bubble and don’t forget both could still win their conference tournaments and get into the dance.

Bubble Boys North Carolina is squarely on the bubble to make the NCAA Tournament. The AC

Sportsbook Page – Betting the Australian Open

Tags: Australian Open, Open, Sportsbook Page

Matchups are on the board at the sportsbook page for the Australian Open. The men’s side should be all about Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer while the women’s side appears more wide open.

You can check out daily matchups at the offshore sportsbook for the Australian Open and make your wagers at Sbg global.com

Nadal and Federer Anyone other than Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer winning the Australian Open would be a surprise.  Nadal is trying to hold all four Grand Slam titles at the same time although it would not be a true Grand Slam.  Nadal lost last year’s Australian Open but then won the next three Grand Slam events.  His main competition is expected to come from Federer who is the defending Australian Open champ.  Federer has won 16 Grand Slam titles which is a record.  He could become just the second man in history to win five or more Australian Open titles.  Either Federer or Nadal has won 21 of the last 23 major titles with Federer winning 12 and Nadal winning 9.  World #3 Novak Djokovic would seem to be at least a little bit of a threat as he did win this tournament three years ago.  Also in the mix could be Andy Murray and Robin Soderling.
