Sportsbook – Vettel and Edwards Reward Bettors
The two winners for gamblers in auto racing odds at the sportsbook this past weekend were Sebastian Vettel and Carl Edwards.
It seems that both drivers are winning on a regular basis for gamblers this season at the Internet sportsbook. Vettel won for the fourth time in five races this season as he took the title in the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday while Edwards won the NASCAR All-Star race on Saturday night.
Vettel Nips Hamilton It was close on Sunday in the Spanish Grand Prix but points leader Sebastian Vettel was just able to hold off Lewis Hamilton by less than a second to get the win. With the win, Vettel now leads Hamilton by 41 points in the standings. Vettel was able to win at the Catalunya Circuit even though he did not start on the pole. He is the first driver to win the Spanish Grand Prix when not starting first in the last 11 races. Vettel’s teammate Mark Webber started on the pole but he finished fourth. Jenson Button took third. Fernando Alonso led the first 18 laps but finished fifth. The Spanish Grand Prix had a close finish which made it exciting for gamblers who bet the race at the Internet sportsbook but overall it was only a battle between four cars. Vettel, Hamilton, Button and Webber were the only four cars to finish on the lead lap.

Edwards Wins $1 Million NASCAR’s All-Star race went to Carl Edwards as he ran away from the field on Saturday night to win the $1 million dollar top prize. Edwards won three of the four segments and was rarely challenged. He is having a great season as he leads the point’s race and he proved on Saturday he is going to be tough to beat vs. the odds at the sportsbook. Kyle Busch finished second as one of the favorites in NASCAR odds at SBG but had nothing for Edwards at the finish. David Reutimann finished third and was followed by Tony Stewart and Greg Biffle.
