French Open 2011

Tags: French Open, Open

Join us as we head to Paris for the second Grand Slam of the year and France’s most popular tennis event at Roland Garros. The French Open is the only Grand Slam tournament to be played on clay and this year it is not to be missed!

In the Men’s tournament it looks to be a close contest between the king of clay Rafael Nadal and the recently improved Serbian Novak Djokovic. The World Number 2 has surely surpassed even his own expectations this year, as he comes into Roland Garros on a 39 match unbeaten run, defeating Nadal twice on clay in the last two weeks. A feat no-one would have believed possible a month ago. This will surely make for one of the most exciting Men’s French Open tournaments for a long time, and you’d be a brave person to bet against a Nadal v Djokovic final! Nadal is looking to equal Bjorn Borg’s record of six French Open titles this year, surely he won’t let Djokovic outdo him for a third time on clay, will he?

The Women’s event looks equally exciting this year, with the likes of Justine Henin retiring and both the Williams sisters out of the tournament, its wide open for anyone to take their chance. Can reigning Champion Francesca Schiavone retain her title or will there be a new Grand Slam Champion?

Who do you think will take the Grand Slam title this year?

Here at betinternet we will be offering LIVE BETTING ON EVERY MATCH throughout the tournament, so why not join us for two weeks of non-stop tennis action!
